'one small step' 2018 organized by Free Fall


΄one small step΄ 2018 is organized by Free Fall and will run from 23 July to 4 August. This is the 9th year of the festival and includes a variety of activities and events in the two-week period.

28 July

10:00 – 12:00 Masterclass with Christina Mertzani and Evangelos Poulinas

21:30 – 23:00 Performance of «one small step» (including the Performance project by Helder Seabra)

29 July

Organised trip by one small step to the sea. We rent a bus and go to the beautiful Glyfada beach. Aim of the trip, apart of the relaxation and the joy of the sea, is for the participants to have a taste of summer sport activities like diving from the cliffs, introduction to skimboarding, games with aerial acrobatics with the use of pilates ball.


'Smile of the Child' summer bazaars



΄Smile of the Child΄ invites all its friends and supporters to visit the summer bazaars that are being organized throughout Greece to support its difficult work.

"Prossalendi's Brittania" - Historical Perspective - Exhibition at the Ionian Academy



As is well known, George IV, as Prince Regent of the United Kingdom, founded the Order of St Michael and St George in Corfu and in Malta on 28 April 1818, two hundred years ago. This forms part of Corfu’s history and belongs to its heritage.

Photography Exhibition: 'Chisels and Memories (Smili kai Mnimi) - The contribution of marblework to the restoration of monuments'

The exhibition runs until Sunday 30th December and aims to give the public the opportunity to learn more about the charismatic Ioannis Capodistrias and to show the influence of his work on modern-day society.

The Art of Uzbekistan Carpets and Textiles at the Museum of Asian Art



The new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Asian Art ‘The Art of Central Asia’. The exhibits have been donated by Yiannis Sartzetakis and Ruth Dayton and include woven textiles, knitted textiles, clothing and jewels from 19th century Central Asia.

Art exhibition with Corfu artists at Theotoky Estate

 
The works of the following artists will be on display:

Spyridon Asonitis, Aspa Michalef, Dimitris Miliotis, Giorgos Pennas, Spyridon Sourtzinos and Petros Stravoravdi.

The exhibition opening will take place on Sunday 29th July at 20:00 in the winery and there will also be a wine-tasting.
