Corfu Children΄s Choir wins award in Vienna

VIENNA. Corfu Children΄s Choir won the highest award at the Summa cum Laude Youth Music Festival in Vienna.
There was further success for Corfu Children΄s Choir at the Summa cum Laude Youth Music Festival in Vienna, where they won one of the three 'Outstanding Success' awards presented to three choirs - Denmark, Greece and Ireland.
Corfu Children's Choir was the first Greek choir to take part in this renowned competitive festival. The panel of judges was made up of nine distinguished international conductors.
The panel has asked the Children's Choir to perform at the Winners' Gala at the Konzerthaus, where they will sing 'Kortsopon' by D. Minakakis. Choir member Angeliki Panayiotou will also sing a solo during the performance of the Festival Anthem.
