The Art of Uzbekistan Carpets and Textiles at the Museum of Asian Art
The new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Asian Art ‘The Art of Central Asia’. The exhibits have been donated by Yiannis Sartzetakis and Ruth Dayton and include woven textiles, knitted textiles, clothing and jewels from 19th century Central Asia.
‘Greekblue’ Art Exhibition at the Porto Nuovo
Exhibition of paintings by Dimitra Mitsara at the Porto Nuovo café restaurant in Kassiopi until 31st July.
Over 200 dancers from 10 dance groups will be coming together in Pelekas Square to perform dances from Corfu, Thraki, Pontos, Crete, Macedonia and the Cyclades accompanied by musical instruments that have been played for centuries not only in Greece but in many other countries.
