Workers΄ Unions to hold demonstration in San Rocco on Friday against the presence of the riot police

CORFU. There was a meeting of the union executives from the All-Workers Militant Front (PAME)on Wednesday night.
They decided to hold a rally in San Rocco Square on Friday at 7pm and are calling on workers' unions, agricultural associations, educational organizations and students to attend.
Because PAME (founded by the Communist Party) were opposed to Lefkimmi Cultural Society allowing the Golden Dawn MP Yiannis Aivatidis to take part in their rally, they aren't collaborating with the residents for the withdrawal of the riot police from Lefkimmi.
Lefkimmi Cultural Society and local residents have also planned a protest on Friday which will gather at the Regional building in Lefkimmi and then proceed towards Corfu Town.
