CORFU. The Central Corfu Action Committee and Temploni Cultural Society give their answer.
The statement
"As part of our collaboration with local groups in Central Corfu, we had a meeting on Saturday 12th May with their representatives to discuss the developments and decide on what actions to take. In this way, they yet again showed their full support for our just cause and confirmed that the matter of waste management is something that affects us all.
The following resident groups were represented at the meeting: Temploni Cultural Society, Giannades, Vatos, Ai Yianni, Afra, Gouvia, Kontokali, Potamos, Kanoni, Stroggyli and Agii Deka.
This is in response to some sections of the mass media who say that our committee is made up of only two or three people.
We will announce our upcoming actions in the next few days."
