Adventures in Light by Kerstin Lindgren
An art exhibition by the acclaimed Swedish artist Kerstin Lindgren - Nordic Light in Movements - in the atmospheric ambience of the historical Flour Stores in the Old Fortress.
The adventures in light travel from northern Europe to the Mediterranean along dynamic routes. The exhibition includes a performance in which the creator describes and interprets these routes of light and is accompanied by sound created by Sophie Andree.

13th Student Photography Exhibition at Old Fortress Prison
The Photography Workshop at the Ionian University AudioVisual Arts Department is organizing its 13th Photography Exhibition.
The exhibition is opening on Friday 4th May at 20:00 in the Old Fortress Prison and will run until 19th May.

Premiere of the British-American film 'Dominion' at the Ionian Academy
As part of the 12th Ionian University Audio Visual Arts Festival in Corfu there will be a premiere evening with the British-American film ‘Dominion’ at the Ionian Academy on Saturday 12th May at 21:00.
The film stars John Malkovich, Rhys Ifans, Romola Garai and Rodrigo Santoro and recently won the Best Actor Award (Rhys Ifans) at the Tallinn Film Festival. At the Rio Film Festival it was considered “worthy of an Oscar” and the Hollywood Reporter called it an “amazing” film.
The art of Uzbekistan Carpets and Textiles at the Museum of Asian Art
The new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Asian Art ‘The Art of Central Asia’ opens on Friday 11th May at 19:00. The exhibits have been donated by Yiannis Sartzetakis and Ruth Dayton and include woven textiles, knitted textiles, clothing and jewels from 19th century Central Asia.
