AM Hoch to give a talk ΄In/Visibility of Women in the Arts΄ at the Public Library

CORFU. The Central Public History Library in cooperation with the Ionian University and the Educational & Cultural Department of the US Embassy Athens is organizing a talk in English ΄In/Visibility of Women in the Arts΄ by the New Yorker AM Hoch.
AM Hoch is a multimedia artist who combines painting and sculpture with text and digital technology to produce large art installations. She lives and works in Bologne.
The Ionian University invited her because of the 'hospitality' in her work 'Diary of a Young Boat' and Ms AM Hoch will talk about the work and the role of women in the arts along with Elena Hamalidi, Associate Professor of History at the Ionian University Department of Audio Visual Arts.
The talk and presentation is part of the library's collaboration with the 'American Spaces' programme and Corfu Tech Lab.
Wednesday 16th May at 19:00 in the Library Hall.
