Corfu Mountain Trail
The Corfu Mountain Trail is now in its 7th year and attracts runners not only from Greece but also from abroad.
The total number of participants will be over 500 as the event includes 4 routes: 8km (Quick Trail), 20km (Olive Tree Trail), 40km (Rain Trail) and 104km (Night & Day Trail). There will also be children's races and Special Olympics races, which are open to the public and free of charge.
Dimitris Sofianos Art Exhibition at 'Avli'
Exhibition of works by the well-known Corfu painter Dimitris Sofianos at the 'Avli' Restaurant in Garitsa until 30th June.
Municipal Art Gallery Exhibition - tribute to Corfu painter Stefanos Sgouros
This year Corfu Municipal Art Gallery is honouring one of the greatest Corfu artists, Stefanos Sgouros, with the painting exhibition “Stefanos Sgouros – A Retrospective”.

Natasa Maneta is presenting an exhibition of her paintings titled ΄Bathers΄ at the Plus bookshop cafe.
The paintings depict everyday life in the summer.
The exhibition runs until 21st April.

For the second year in Corfu the non-profit organization EUDEC (European Democratic Education Community) is organizing a Spring Academy at Casa Lucia in Sgombou.

Silva Horse Riding Centre and Corfu Barique Horse Riding Club are organizing the 2nd TRM Balaton Horse Riding Competition under the auspices of the Hellenic Horse Riding Federation.

Roda Beach clean-up
Volunteers needed to help clean up Roda beach on April 15.
With the season drawing close we are asking residents to help clean up our local beaches. This is happening not only in Corfu but all over Greece so please help us for a few hours to make a difference.
Meeting point will be ‘Pirates Bar’ on the beach front at 10am.
Bin bags and disposable gloves will be provided by ‘Mark’ wholesalers (Acharavi)

Arkadades and Kastellano Gyro Cultural Societies would like to invite anyone interested to come and help clean up the area around Troumbeta.
In the morning the area around Troumbeta will be cleaned up and the walls painted.
Trek: Issos - Gardiki Castle
Corfu Trekking and Mountain Climbing Association is organizing a trek on Sunday 15th April from Issos to Gardiki Castle.
The walk doesn't present any great difficulties and is open to everyone. The distance covered is approximately 10km (3km over sand dunes).
Starting Point: Issos Beach
Finish: Gardiki Castle
Length: 10km
Degree of difficulty: 1
Time: 3 hours
Transport to and from the start and finish points is by chartered bus - departing at 09:00 from Spilia (Black Cat).
