CORFU. Holy Tuesday 3rd April: 10:00-13:00 in Georgiou Theotoki St. (new pedestrian area).
The Municipality Blood Bank Committee is organizing its 15th voluntary blood donation event in Georgiou Theotoki St. (new pedestrian area) on Holy Tuesday, 3rd April, from 10:00 to 13:00.
Corfu is one of 12 towns in Greece that are taking part in events to coincide with World Blood Donor Day 2018. The event is being supported by Corfu Regional Special Needs Association, Corfu Thalassaemia Society and ‘Faros Zois’ (Lighthouse of Life).
Due to the increased need for blood to serve the needs of Corfu residents, we would like to ask you to give ten minutes of your time to give blood to aid the Corfu Municipality Blood Bank and also to help develop the spirit of voluntarism and support for others.
Whoever so wishes can also become a bone marrow donor. Experienced doctors and nurses from Corfu General Hospital will be in attendance.
There is a great need for blood – you too can give this priceless gift. Give life!
