Car overturns at Alikes junction (update)

CORFU. A road accident occurred at about 3 o’clock this afternoon when a car overturned on the traffic island at the Alikes junction (near Ekati and Lidl).
According to new police information, the 68-year-old driver lost control of the car – probably due to speeding – hit the traffic island and overturned. Other drivers and passers-by were able to remove him from the car. Suffering only minor injuries, he was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
