4m Euros from the Region of Ionian Islands for new and existing businesses
CORFU. In order to provide businesses with better access to funding, the Region of Ionian Islands has set up the Business Fund II (TEPIX II).
Following the decision taken by the Regional Governor, Theodoros Galiatsatos, on 15th December, the Regional Business Programme (PEP) will contribute 4m Euros to the newly established Business Fund II (TEPIX II), which aims to provide businesses with better access to funding.
In particular, TEPIX II aims to help with access to funding in the following ways: investment capital and working capital for new, innovative and outward-looking businesses; development of existing businesses through technological and organizational modernisation, by making them more outward-looking and introducing innovative organizational and operational ideas etc.
Business Loans, Guarantees and Microcredit through TEPIX II.
TEPIX II will be managed by the Hellenic Business & Development Fund, which will now invite businesses to apply. These can be new or existing businesses and especially very small, small and medium-sized businesses of all types.
Finally, with the above decision of the Regional Governor, the Management Authority of the ‘Business Programme for Business, Competitiveness and Innovation’ has been designated as the Intermediate Body to manage the outlined business activities on behalf of the Region of Ionian Islands.
