Serious road accident in Kouramades with woman unconscious — rescue operation underway

CORFU. Firefighters managed to free one woman, while the second was pulled out unconscious.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, a road accident occurred in the Kouramades area. Early reports indicate that two women, aged 48 and 75, were trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched. Two fire engines, police units, and an ambulance arrived at the scene.
Firefighters successfully freed one of the women, while the second, a 75-year-old, was pulled out unconscious.
The cause of the accident remains unclear and is under investigation by the Traffic Police.
