΄Coronation΄ concert by University Department of Music Studies Choir and Vocal Ensemble

The traditional concert titled ‘Coronation’ will be presented by the Choir and Vocal Ensemble of the Ionian University Department of Music Studies on Monday, May 26 at 7:00 PM at the Ionian Academy.
Music lovers will have the opportunity to hear performances by students of the Choral Conducting Track for Mixed – Professional Choirs (instructor: Dimitris Ktistakis), as well as soloists from the Vocal Performance Class (instructor: Roza Poulimeni, with piano accompaniment by Marilena Eloul). The programme includes the renowned "Coronation Mass" and the iconic "Lacrimosa" from the Requiem by W.A. Mozart, as well as the beloved aria "La Vergine degli Angeli" from the opera "La forza del destino" by G. Verdi.
The concert will conclude with works by F. Anerio, M. J. Trotta, and J. Runestad, performed by the Department’s Vocal Ensemble.
