Initiative to mark World Mental Health Day

CORFU. The event will take place on Monday, 12 October, from 10:00 to 13:00, in the reception area/main entrance of the Ionian Islands Corfu Regional Unit building, on Spyrou Samara Street.
To mark World Mental Health Day (10 October), the Corfu Mental Health Centre, in cooperation with the Corfu Social Cooperative Enterprise and the island’s partner psychosocial rehabilitation facilities — the Day Hospital and the “THINALI” Hostel — invite you to a symbolic awareness-raising and anti-stigma initiative entitled “The Tree of Mental Resilience.”
The even will take place on Monday, 12 October, from 10:00 to 13:00, in the reception area/main entrance of the Ionian Islands Corfu Regional Unit building, on Spyrou Samara Street.
A handmade “tree” created by residents and staff of the facilities will be on display, carrying their own thoughts and reflections. Members of the public passing by, as well as Regional government employees, are invited to add their voices by writing on a small piece of paper their own thoughts on mental resilience and what helps them stay strong in difficult times.
