Free guided tour of Old Fortress
CORFU. The invitation is open to everyone and free (there will be no entrance fee).
Corfu Fortifications – Protection & Promotion of the Corfu Fortresses is organising a tour of the Old Fortress on Saturday, September 27, at 11:00 a.m. The meeting point will be at the statue of Schulenburg. The organiser of the event and head of the Corfu Fortifications group, Theofilos Tzikas, states the following:
"We will tour the Old Fortress together, talk about its history, observe its individual sections and their details. This is an opportunity to get to know each other better and to keep our connection with the monuments of our land alive."
The invitation is open to everyone and free of charge (there will be no entrance fee).
Those who have a small pair of binoculars are encouraged to bring them along.
