From 1st March the Capodistrias Museum will be open daily
CORFU. The museum will be open to the public 10:00-16:00 daily apart from Mondays and public holidays.
From Thursday 1st March summer opening hours will be in operation at the Capodistrias Museum. It will be open to the public 10:00-16:00 daily apart from Mondays and public holidays.
The newly restored museum has been open since October 2017 and in the first months there have been over 2,000 visitors.
The Capodistrias Museum offers a unique historical experience with the personal belongings of Ioannis Capodistrias, historic documents from his diplomatic and political career as well as family heirlooms. Visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy the rich gardens around the residence/museum in Koukouritsa which is classical example of Ionian architecture.
There is paid admission to the museum and free acoustic guides in 4 languages (Greek, English, French and Russian) are available to visitors. There is also a shop with a selection of publications by Ioannis Capodistrias as well as souvenirs. Entrance to the garden is free.
Opening hours: Daily 10:00-16:00 (Except Mondays and public holidays)
Admission:
Regular – 5 Euros
Reduced – 3 Euros
School groups – 1 Euro
There is free entrance for special categories.
