Buyers from Sweden and India in Corfu to source local products
CORFU. Business meetings in Corfu from 9 to 12 October, aiming to boost exports of local products.
The Ionian Islands Regional Authority’s international business mission, bringing together representatives of buyers from Sweden and India, moves to Corfu from Friday 9 to Monday 12 October.
The programme includes visits to production facilities, product tastings and direct business-to-business (B2B) meetings, with the aim of establishing export partnerships.
The mission is already in Kefalonia, where the foreign buyers are assessing products, prices and available quantities following on-site visits to businesses.
The initiative could open up new opportunities for local producers, provided the contacts lead to actual orders. So far, no participating businesses, products attracting interest or specific commercial agreements have been announced.
The initiative is being coordinated by Eleni Papanastassatou, Deputy Regional Governor for Entrepreneurship and Greeks Abroad.
