Booster shots: Online platform now available for bookings 3 months after second shot

ATHENS. Those who have had both vaccination shots can now book an appointment for the booster shot just three months after their second shot.
All adults in Greece can now officially book an appointment for the booster shot three months after their vaccination.
The online platform became available just after 22:00 on Friday and those for whom three months have passed since the second shot can now book an appointment for the booster shot.
In an announcement on Friday, the General Secretary for Primary Healthcare Marios Themistokleous said that from midnight and gradually until the early hours of the morning the platform would become available - however, as it turned out, it cam online earlier.
The booster shot will now be available three months after vaccination for all adults 18 years old and over.
Those who have had Covid and recovered are also recommended to have the booster three months after recovery and not six months. Those who have had the Johnson & Johnson single-shot vaccination can have the booster two months afterwards, as was already the case.
