Old Town Hall lit up in orange for World Multiple Sclerosis Day

CORFU. Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality took part in events organised in several towns by the Greek Multiple Sclerosis Society.
On the occasion of World Multiple Sclerosis Day on Sunday 30 May the municipality and the Department of Culture lit up the San Giacomo Old Town Hall in orange as a mark of respect.
Deputy Mayor for Culture Chrysoula Tombrou said: "Our Municipality is honouring those affected by this condition and sending a message of hope and support to them and their families and friends as well as health professionals who have to deal with it every day. Proper information and public awareness contribute significantly towards helping those affected improve their everday lives."
