CORFU. The tyre of a private plane burst just as it was about to take off.
A private Beechcraft Bonanza plane which had come to Corfu Airport from Giza, Egypt burst its tyre. According to information, the plane was ready to take off for Dubrovnik at around 17:30 on Thursday 11th when one of its tyres burst. It stood at the end of the runway for quite a while until a crane came to take it away and place it on the apron, where it still remains today, Friday, waiting for a replacement tyre to arrive.
