΄Alexander the Great΄ Association gifts 1,000 masks to Corfu Surgical Association

CORFU. "It gives us strength to carry on our work," says Surgical Association President - "A small gift but with a big heart," says Corfu Macedonian Union President.
At a time when everybody's contribution is needed due to the pandemic, the Corfu 'Alexander the Great' Macedonian Union gifted 1,000 face masks to Corfu Surgical Association.
The masks were handed over at a meeting between the President of the Surgical Association paediatrician Maria Mandila-Kousouni, the President of Corfu Macedonian Union Effi Lapsana and the Press & Communications Director Annie Tapaskou at the Association's office.
Dr. Mandila-Kousouni was happy to accept the gift and thanked the Board and members of the Macedonian Union. She presented them with a Press Papier collector's item for the the Association's 120th anniversary and praised them for their "commendable and unique" gift.
."It is a significant initiative which gives us strength to carry on our work," said the Association President. The Union President said, "The Macedonian Union is giving a small gift today but with a big heart to help in its small way during this unprecedented time that we are living through."
