Hit-and-run accident in Corfu with drunk driver

CORFU. A foreign national driver, 28, and his passenger, 44, were arrested for injuring and abandoning a 29-year-old motorcyclist near the port entrance.
A hit-and-run accident near the New Port entrance was reported to Corfu Port Authority early this morning, 27 September.
A 28-year-old foreign national hit and injured a 29-year-old motorcyclist and, along with his 44-year-old passenger, abandoned the scene.
Following an investigation, the driver and the passenger were found and arrested and the breathalyser test showed that the driver was over the limit.
Corfu Port Authority is conducting the investigation.
