Woman, 83, drowns near Benitses

CORFU. An 83-year-old woman was pulled out of the sea near Benitses on Saturday 4 July.
The woman was pulled out of the sea unconscious on Saturday afternoon and taken by ambulance to Corfu General Hospital, where death was confirmed.
Corfu Central Port Authority is investigating the incident and an autopsy has been ordered.
