IOANNINA. The patient, who was hospitalised at Ioannina University Hospital and was Corfu΄s second confirmed coronavirus case, died this morning.
Tragically, the 75-year-old patient who was hospitalised at Ioannina University Hospital - Corfu's second coronavirus case - wasn't able to pull through.
He succumbed to the coronavirus and passed away this morning - the island's first death from the pandemic.
The wife of the 75-year-old man is also hospitalised at the same hospital, having been tested positive for coronavirus.
