Afra Primary School top of the list for recycling again this month on the Followgreen platform

CORFU. The island΄s school pupils are racing ahead in their efforts to make recycling a way of life.
Afra Primary School remain in first place in the Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipal Schools Recycling Marathon. Other primary schools that have collected a large number of points in this friendly competition on the Followgreen platform are Kato Korakiana, Corfu 14th, Corfu 11th, Gouvia and Kontokali.
The following has been posted on the Afra Primary School Page: "We would like once again to thank the pupils, parents, teachers, villagers, the PGA Board and friends for their zeal and discipline in recycling and the exemplary way in which they bring recyclable materials to the collection point at our school. Recycling needs to become a way of life on our island and this is being demonstrated by the children and local residents! Well done!"
