Bag with nearly €6k found and handed in to police

CORFU. The bag was found by North Corfu Deputy Mayor Nikos Mouzakitis. The owner was found and the bag returned to them.
North Corfu Deputy Mayor Nikos Mouzakitis found a bag with 5,800 euros, 30 pounds and 20 dollars on Tuesday 18 October and handed it in to the police station.
North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris congratulated Mr. Mouzakitis on what he called his exemplary act and said that even in these difficult times our humanity has not disappeared.
The owner of the bag was found and they warmly thanked the Deputy Mayor.
