CORFU. The man was pulled out of the sea unconscious at Kanouli beach.
An 83-year-old Greek man was pulled out of the sea unconscious at Kanouli beach in Agios Mathaios on Tuesday afternoon.
He was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital, where death was confirmed.
The Paleokastritsa division of Corfu Port Authority, which is conducting the investigation, has ordered an autopsy.
