Concert in St.Spyridon Square with ΄Old΄ Philharmonic Society and ΄Dimodokos΄ Choir

The 'Old' Philharmonic Society is continuing its programme of events with its youth band concert with the Municipal 'Dimodokos' Choir on Fridy 29 July at 21:00 in St. Spyridon Square (Plakada).
In the first part of the concert the choir will perform works from its folk and artistic repertoire which have been specially arranged.
in the second part the Youth Band will present innovative works specially arranged for brass bands, focussing mainly on music from the cinema.
The third part of the concert will have the orchestra and the choir performing together with well-known works by Plessas, Katsaros, Hadjidakis, Papathanassiou, Theodorakis and Rota.
The concert will be conducted by Dimitra Kalogeropoulou and Spyros Prosoparis.
