12th Alykes Lefkimmi Festival programme

For 11 years now, the festival has been promoting the customs and traditions of the area, taking place in the beautiful natural environment of Alykes, Lefkimmi.

The festival will include musical evenings, dance groups, choirs, concerts and other events.

Sunday 7 August

21:00 - 'Old' Philharmonic Society concert conducted by Spyros Prosoparis.

7-15 August

Exhibition in the festival area of South Corfu art and handcrafts.

Monday 8 August

21:00 - Choral concert with Lefkimmi Choir, Argyrades Cultural Society Choir, Chlomos Choir and Vouniatades-Ano Pavliana Choirs.

Tuesday 9 August

21:00 - Fim screening of Les Miserables in collaboration with Corfu Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (KETHEA).

Wednesday 10 August

21:00 - Traditional and modern dance performances with Perivoli Dance Group, Lefkimmi 'Phaethon' Dance Group and Lefkimmi-Kantrilies 'Garoufalis' Cultural Society.

Friday 12 August

21:30 - "The Party Goes On" - Paschalis Live. A party with hits by the Olympians and other 60s music.

Saturday 13 August

Pix Lax with support group Senario.

Monday 15 August

August 15th celebrations.
