CORFU. Following the initiatives of MP Gikas, the visit of the Civil Protection special adviser appears to reopen the matter of relocating the prison away from town.
Civil Protection special adviser Adonis Ioannidis met with the Ionian Islands Deputy Regional Governor on his visit to Corfu.
The main part of the discussion was regarding the relocation of Corfu Prison. Deputy Governor Kostas Zorbas confirmed that the regional authority will give its full assistance for this to happen.
