San Giacomo Christmas Concert on Monday 20 December

Corfu 'San Giacomo' Municipal Choir will be performing its traditional Christmas Concert at the Catholic Duomo at 20:30 on Monday 18 December.

The works to be performed include Blaser-Messe by Hans Melchior Brugk, accompanied by the Gloria Brass Ensemble quintet. There will be solo performances of Laudate Dominum and Ave Maria by Despina Daskalierou and Elena Souaref.

The children΄s section of the Municipal Choir will also be taking part, supervised by Andreas Gousis with pianists Marilena Eloul and Lia Kolita.

The Brass Ensemble includes the following musicians: Nikos Ninos (trumpet), Panayiotis Kefalas (trumpet), Alexis Geoldasis (trombone), Spyros Vradis (euphonium) and Spyros Grimas (tuba).

Admission will be only for those who have been vaccinated or have recovered from Covid, according to the health protocols. There will be a video wall with the concert outside the church.

The concert is being held under the auspices of Corfu Catholic Archbishopric and the Corfu Catholic Metropolitan Church parish.
