Perama road closed due to subsidence

CORFU. Roadworks are being carried out just before Avra Restaurant due to road subsidence.
The road to Perama between the Ponti crossroads and the junction with the road to Benitses and Messonghi will be closed from 09:00 on Tuesday 7 December until 08:00 on Thursday 9 December.
The road has been closed in order for the Regional Authority to conduct inspection work on the Corfu-Girou Achillio road ahead of repairs due to the subsidence 60m from the Avra Restaurant.
Traffic from Corfu Town to Benitses and Moraitika will be diverted either via the Achillion Palace to Benitses or the EP-6 road (Kastelani-Vouniatades-Ag.Mathaios-Messonghi).
