ATHENS. EODY announced 2,313 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 16 October - including 18 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,313 confirmed new cases today. 14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 692,197, of which 50.8% are males. Over the last 7 days, 116 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,171 are connected with known cases.
There were 30 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 15,348. 95.4% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
361 patients are intubated in ICUs. 319 (88.37%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 42 (11.63%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 66 and 80.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,239 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 210 (+0.48%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 202.
