CORFU. The Municipal Technical Works Dept. is asking drivers to take special care in areas where there are roadworks.
Statement from Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Technical Works Department:
Road maintenance and repairs are being carried out in the districts of Corfu Town and Phaeaces with a budget of €4.5m. The contractor has begun the work in the following areas - Gazatika, Kato Korakiana, Poulades, Ano Korakiana and Potamos (Spyrou Peroulaki, Asirmato, Agia Eleousa).
The Municipal Technical Works Department asks drivers in the aforementioned areas to take special care and would like to ask for the public's understanding - the work is necessary in order to improve road safety.
