New call for expressions of interest for the Vidos shuttle service

CORFU. The deadline for submissions is Friday 17 September.
Following the previous lack of response, Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality is once again calling for expressions of interest in leasing the municipal boat 'Agios Stefanos', which can transfer 75 passengers in the summer months and 12 in the winter months.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 17 September. The lease will be valid for three years from the time of signature with the possibility of and extension for another three years following approval by the Municipal Council just before the lease expires. The minimum rental cost is €100 per annum.
Tickets and free transfers
The ticket price must not be more than €3 return and there will be the possibility of issuing weekly and monthly travel cards for €8 and €25 respectively. Transfers will be free, however, for municipal employees going to Vidos on municipal business; participants in the municipal, scout and guides camps; members of the municipal seniors' care centre; members of large families and those with special needs; children aged 12 and under and members of groups and organisations that assist with the activities on the island. The Municipal Council will also decide on other categories from vulnerable groups which will have a 50% discount.
Timetable
The following timetables for the shuttle service to Vidos Island will be implemented:
Spring - 15/5 to 30/6
Daily services Old Port-Vidos from 07:00. There will be a total of 12 return journeys daily. Departures from the Old Port will be on the hour and return from Vidos on the half-hour.
Summer - 1/7 to 15/9
Daily services Old Port-Vidos from 07:00. There will be a total of 17 return journeys daily. Departures from the Old Port will be on the hour and return from Vidos on the half-hour.
Autumn - 16/9 to 15/10
Daily services Old Port-Vidos from 07:00. There will be a total of 12 return journeys daily. Departures from the Old Port will be on the hour and return from Vidos on the half-hour.
Winter - 15/10 to 14/5
The shuttle service will operate on workdays and whenever required for municipal needs. One service departing from the Old Port at 07:00 with personnel and supplies and return from Vidos at 14:30.
