Unvaccinated hospital personnel receive their suspension notices

CORFU. According to the Employees΄ Union, the notice has been issued to 65 staff out of a total of 700 at the hospital.
Enimerosi can reveal that unvaccinated personnel from all departments at Corfu General Hospital have received their suspension notices.
Health workers who have not been vaccinated were automatically suspended yesterday and received the notice below which says: "Notwithstanding any other general or specific regulation, we are imposing the administrative measure of suspension of duties from 1/9/2021 for the protection of public health in accordance with Article 206 of the N4820/2021 Law."
According to the Employees΄ Union, the notice has been issued to 65 staff out of a total of 700 at the hospital.
At this time, health workers who are opposed to mandatory vaccinations are holding a protest at the hospital entrance as part of the nationwide work stoppage organised by the national union (POEDHN) from 10:00 to 15:00.
A protest has also been planned for this evening at 19:00 in Georgaki Square.
