Local fair in Temponi cancelled due to rise in Covid cases on the island

CORFU. The Temploni Cultural Society announced that the traditional local fair (panygiri) for the celebration of Yperagia Theotokou Odigitra on 22 and 23 August, which takes place every year in Temploni, has been cancelled.
This decision was taken due to the increase in the number of cases on the island and in order for the health measures for the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 to be adhered to.
However, on the day of the celebration on 23 August 2021, a church service will be held.
The Temploni Cultural Society Board wishes everyone good health and a happy celebration.
