ATHENS. EODY announced 3,428 laboratory confirmed new cases on Tuesday 3 August - including 56 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,428 confirmed new cases today.14 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 501,030, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 162 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,722 are connected with known cases.
There were 14 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,997. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
191 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 65 and 82.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,815 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 142 (-14.97%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 171.
