Young man killed in North Corfu road accident

CORFU. A 21-year-old man lost his life on the Roda-Karousades road early on Monday morning.
At 05:20 this morning his car overturned and hit a wooden post and then crashed into a tree.
The collision happened with great force and the two occupants had to be freed from the vehicle by firefighters - the car engine ended up several metres away.
The 21-year-old driver was fatally injured and the 18-year-old passenger was taken to Corfu Hospital with serious injuries. According to initial information, he is out of danger.
