Corfu, Zakynthos and Paxos move up a level on epidemiological map of Greece

CORFU. Latest update from Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias.
The gradual increase in the number of cases being recorded daily in tourist areas has led to changes in category on the epidemiological map of Greece.
In the Ionian Islands Region Corfu and Zakynthos have moved up to Level 3 (orange) and Paxos to Level 2 (yellow).
Level 3 Measures
Ongoing communication with local authorities and detailed updates on the particular epidemiological situation in the area.
Special EODY and Civil Protection teams to carry out the following:
- increased sample tests for SARS-CoV-2
- intensification of local contact tracing
- intensification of vaccination programme as a priority
