ATHENS. EODY announced 890 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 9 June including 16 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 890 confirmed new cases today. 2 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 412,420, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 39 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,604 are connected with known cases.
There were 15 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 12,346. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
381 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 87.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,532 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 106 (-16.54%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 139.
