LONDON. A variety of scenarios were discussed and circulated before the decision was finally announced.
Many of the popular tourist destinations such as Greece, and especially the islands, had had high hopes of being included in the updated Green List.
The hopes were not fulfilled, however - no countries were added to the UK Green List, in fact, even the only mainstream destination previously included, Portugal, was removed and put on the amber list, as confirmed by the UK Minister of Transport.
