Two arrested for illegal sale of firecrackers and other fireworks

CORFU. 2,320 firecrackers, 2,050 children΄s toys and 965 other fireworks were seized by police.
Police are carrying out checks over the Easter period for the illegal possession and sale of firecrackers and other toys.
On Thursday 29 April two people were arrested separately. Their shops were found to have 965 fireworks in the first case and 2,320 firecrackers and 2,050 toys in the second.
The two were held for questioning and checks will continue throughout the Easter period.
