ATHENS. It seems that the specialist committee is close to lifting the SMS measure with the upcoming reopening of catering establishments.
Catering establishments are reopening on Easter Monday after being closed for several months and there are many who are saying that there will be no point in having the SMS measure.
The Ministry of Health Specialist Committee is meeting today to discuss the possible lifting of the SMS measure after Easter Day as the government had stated.
According to information from CNN Greece, the committee is also expected to discuss the lifting of the lockdown for some sports activities.
The most likely scenario is for the SMS measure to be lifted from 3 May or, at the latest 15 May, when Greek tourism reopens.
