CORFU. A total of 51 fines were issued in Corfu and another 27 in the other Ionian Islands on Sunday 7 March.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
10 people who went to play football were fined €150 each for not adhering to the health measures at a sports facility.
Additionally, on 7 March fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 8 people in Corfu, 3 in Cephalonia, 1 in Zakynthos and 1 in Lefkada.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 33 in Corfu, 11 in Lefkada, 7 in Zakynthos and 4 in Cephalonia.
