Deputy Minister Petsas: 'Jumping the queue' for the vaccination is unacceptable
Stelios Petsas said the incidents in Corfu are unacceptable. Speaking on Mega TV channel about 'jumping the queue' for the vaccination, the Deputy Minister for the Interior said that it was unacceptable and made it clear that there are reserve lists for vaccinations that are not given on time.
When asked whether there will be disciplinary and criminal proceedings against the doctor who gave vaccinations out of turn, he answered, "Of course".
It should be noted that responsibility for the vaccination programme at the town Health Centre - where the incidents happened - was removed from the doctor in question and a formal administrative inquiry has been ordered.
