Corfu Hospital: How many hospitalised with Covid and what is the capacity

CORFU. Regional Health Director Ioannis Karvelis commended Corfu Hospital for its hospitalisation of cases now that there is increased pressure on Ioannina hospitals - especially the University Hospital.
According to hospital administration sources, at the moment there are seven patients hospitalised in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit on the 4th floor of Corfu Hospital plus another two intubated in the ICU. A total of nine.
The Infectious Diseases Unit has a capacity of 25 patients and the ICU a capacity of four.
On Monday and Tuesday 80 test samples were sent and 5 came back positive on Monday and one on Tuesday. A total of six.
These figures shouldn't be confused with those announced by EODY - they should neither be added to nor subtracted from those numbers as they are all included in the EODY figures that are announced.
