CORFU. The patient had been hospitalised at Corfu Hospital but his family decided that he should continue his hospitalisation and treatment in Germany.
A German patient, a confirmed COVID-19 case, who had been hospitalised at Corfu Hospital was airlifted back home following all the necessary health protocols.
The patient, who is around 68 years of age, had been intubated in the hospital ICU but his family decided to continue his hospitalisation and treatment back in Germany.
There are still 5 COVID-19 cases hospitalised in the special infectious disease unit on the 4th floor of Corfu Hospital.
