75 new COVID-19 cases in Greece today and 2 deaths

ATHENS. EODY announced 75 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 4 were detected at entry points. 12 patients intubated in ICUs.

EODY announced 75 new confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 , of which 4 were detected at entry points. The total number of cases in Greece is now 4,662, of which 54.7% are males. 1,290 (27.7%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,308 (49.5%) are from contacts with known cases.

12 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 64 and 66.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 128 patients have been discharged from ICUs

There were 2 deaths today, taking the total number of fatalities to 208. 67 (32.2%) were females. 95.7% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.

5 arrivals who volunteered to be tested
19 in Attica, 3 of which from a cluster in the national water polo team
15 in Thessaloniki, 4 of which from a wedding
13 in Kavala, 11 of which from a meat-packing factory
4 in Halkidiki
2 in Fthiotida
1 in Arcadia
1 in Imathia
1 in Ioannina
1 in Kastoria
1 in Corfu
1 in Kozani
1 in Corinth
1 in Pieria
1 in Chania
1 in Heraklion
1 in Xanthi

Since 1 January 545,439 samples have been tested for SARS-CoV-2 of which 6,657 (1.4%) were positive (including cases of more than one sample per person).
