Angela Gerekou: Our big hopes lie with domestic tourism

CORFU. "We must all work together," said GNTO President Angela Gerekou following the meeting at Corfu Airport with the Tourism Minister, local authorities and tourism professionals.
"We are concerned about the losses from the UK market but we have great hopes for domestic tourism. This may not increase GDP but it significantly helps local economies," said GNTO President Angela Gerekou. "For this reason the Government needs to cooperate well with local and regional authorities and tourism professionals."
